Delete your account

You can permanently delete your SpeechLime account and all associated data at any time, from this page or from Settings inside the app. You do not need the app installed to use this page.

This cannot be undone.

Deleting removes your profile, every child profile, all screenings and reports, any voice recordings, messages with your clinician, and your downloads. We cannot restore them afterwards. Download your data first if you want to keep a copy.

What gets deleted

Your parent profile, contact details and preferences
Every child profile, including photos and stated concerns
All screenings, answers, AI reports and clinician reviews
Any voice recordings of your child, deleted from storage as well as our database
Messages with your clinician, appointments, goals and assigned practice
Support tickets, notifications and download history

What we keep, and why

We retain security audit records of administrative actions with your identifier removed, so they no longer relate to you personally. We may also retain records where the law requires it. Nothing retained can be used to identify you or your child.

How long it takes

Immediately. Deletion happens the moment you confirm, and there is no recovery window. Backups are rotated out within 30 days.

Want a copy first?

Sign in and use Settings → Download my data to export everything we hold as a JSON file before you delete. Once deleted, we cannot produce it.
